Many of these devices utilise cooled tips to reduce the discomfort of treatment, and protect the top layers of skin. In addition a Zimmer Blower can be used to blow cold air across the treatment area to help control pain. Topical anaesthetic creams are sometimes applied one to two hours prior to laser treatment.

Lasers and light therapies available at our Darlinghurst and Westmead clinics are used to treat the following:

We have a full range of laser systems and associated modalities available at the Foundation. This allows the treatment to be customised to suit each patient’s needs.

Patients can expect noticeable improvement and a more refreshed appearance. The extent of the improvement will depend on the number of treatments and severity of the condition.

Your treatment will be performed by a team of qualified dermatologists and specialist dermatology nurses. Each patient will undergo a consultation to discuss their condition and a plan will be developed to address individual goals.
